Roasted potatoes

  • Boil water, add 2 tbsp of salt and half tsp of baking soda
  • Boil potatoes for 10 m.
  • Heat oven to 450f
  • Cook 5 tbsp olive oil, 3 minced garlic cloves, rosemary, and black pepper, for 3 m
  • Drain potatoes for 1m, transfer to bowl, add only oil (not the leftover garlic and rosemary). Cover bowl with metal lid and shake vigorously.
  • Bake for 20m, flip, and bake for 30m more, until crispy.
  • Add rest of garlic and rosemary, add some salt, serve.
