# Hibiscus Tacos

## Ingredients
|
|
|
|
- 2 cups of dried hibiscus flowers
|
|
- half white onion
|
|
|
|
## Recipe
|
|
|
|
- Wash flowers in sink thoroughly, to get off all gritty bits.
|
|
- Put in pot, add 4 cups water (twice amount).
|
|
- Optionally hydrate for an hour.
|
|
- Bring to boil, simmer for 5 minutes
|
|
- Strain liquid into bowl.
|
|
- You can make agua jamaica by adding 4 more cups of water, and 1/4th cup sugar to the strained liquid.
|
|
- Heat olive oil on med heat until translucent. Add flowers, cook for 10m. Add preferred spices.
