Tortillas

Corn

  • Make sure masa and water mix is pretty wet, wait for 30m.
  • Cook first side for 30 to 45 seconds.
  • Flip and cook second side for 1 minute.
  • Flip and press once or twice with a spatula until tortilla puffs up slightly.
  • Cook for 30 seconds more.
  • Flip one last time and cook for 5 to 10 seconds.

Flour

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4th teaspoon salt
  • 1/3rd cup hot water

Recipe

  • combine salt, flour, mix
  • add butter
  • knead for a minute
  • let sit for 8m somewhere hot
  • roll into 6-8 small balls
  • let sit on counter for 8m, heat griddle
  • get bowl of flour
  • pat into disks in flour bowl
  • roll thin, put on griddle
  • 10s on each side, another 10 on first side
